Bio
Nick Bilski is a 25 year old left-handed guitarist hailing from the “Rock n Roll Capital of the World”, Cleveland, Ohio. Nick began to learn guitar at the age of 11, inspired by the 90s/2000s rock bands he grew up listening to. By high school, Nick was regularly performing in local bands with his friends at venues all around Northeast Ohio, including Cleveland’s own Rock n Roll Hall Of Fame.
After high school, Nick relocated to Chicago, IL and went on to study music at Columbia College Chicago, graduating with a BM in Instrumental Performance in 2020. Nick immersed himself in studying Jazz guitar at Columbia, while performing and releasing two EPs with his former rock band Sōk.
Nick relocated again to Nashville, TN in August 2021 to pursue graduate school at Belmont University as well as be a part of the rich, vibrant Nashville music community. During Nick’s three years in Nashville, he has regularly performed across a variety of settings, from a weekly cover gig at the 12/30 Club on Nashville’s Broadway, to a performance at Geodis Park with over 25,000 people in attendance. Nick graduated with a MM in Commerical Guitar from Belmont University in 2023. Since then, Nick has been teaching guitar lessons and performing with a variety of local Nashville talents including Larysa Jaye, Lorie Jo Bridges, Jillie Kerwin, Mozart Gabriel, Vertigo Child, and many more.
While Nick’s roots are in 90s Rock, Nick enjoys playing a wide variety of musical styles including Pop, Country, Jazz, Fusion, R&B, Funk, Metal, Reggae, and many more. Some of Nick’s favorite musical artists include The Cranberries, Fiona Apple, Blink-182, Deftones, Coheed & Cambria, System of a Down, Carole King, Jimi Hendrix, Nile Rodgers, Elliott Smith, Steely Dan, Sublime, and many more.
When Nick isn’t playing music, Nick enjoys going to coffee shops and reading, traveling, and any outdoor activity, especially running. Nick always says his second passion to music is long distance running, having completed multiple full and half marathons with no plans to slow down anytime soon.
